Default 2+2 e-books?

Has 2+2 published any books as e-books? I have several of their books in softback, Harrington I & II, SSHE, etc, but I often find myself in situations where I only have my pocketPC or laptop and want to read. I have other non poker e-books or audio books I read or listen to in those situations. I can even have an e-book read to me on my laptop as I drive to and from work.

So are any available now or are there any plans to do so in the future?

Thanks!

I agree that would be convenient, but the books would get on P2P networks not long after, and that would be the end of the world as we know it.

What is "p2p networks"? Is that when someone downloads a book (and pays for it), but beams it to another person's palm? I thought this problem was circumvented by designating the purchaser's credit card number as the password.

i don't know what kazaa or morpheus are either. (I'm way out of touch I think). Are those like what napster used to be?

Yes, like napster.

I have yet to see any really successful protection for e-book type documents.

You probably never will, either. If the human eye can see it, you can rest assured it can be copied somehow. The bright side is that there isn't as huge a market for unpurchased ebooks as there is for say, movies or music - people are more than happy to watch movies or listen to music on their computer, but reading books from a screen for any length of time is a major pain in the ass.

So barring some particularly groundbreaking new technology, there will always be a plentiful market for portable, glare-free, dogearable books.

2+2 books are already available on p2p networks, I've seen HFAP and the red tourney one. WLLH, Hilger's book etc. are also out there.

So even if they aren't available as ebooks they're already being pirated.

I for one would love to be able to purchase 2+2 books as ebooks, being able to support 2+2 without having to pay for the dead trees.
