best poker magazine?
I was thinking about subscribing to CardPlayer magazine, but i wasn't sure if "ALL IN" magazine is better. Cardplayer seems to be of better quality, judging from their website and whatever. Just wondering if anyone else has seen both of these and has a recommendation.

Re: best poker magazine?
i think card player magazine is a bit pricey but you do get biweekly issues. if you live near a B&M, often they give away free copies. if you accumulate enough points at UB, you can get a years subscription. check out the UB points store. i believe all in is a relatively new comer so they wont be as good IMHO. may i ask why you need a hardcopy when you can read it online? if i was gonna get a hardcopy subscrition, i would probable get both.

From what I've seen it ranks ahead of All-in but behind Card Player. |

Re: best poker magazine?
It looks to me like Bluff is second behind Cardplayer and making a decent run at the big dog of the business. Bluff is the only one other than CP that has some big name featured writers (The Grinder, Annie Duke, Antonio, Marcel, and Lou Kreiger who they just stole from CP).
All the others just seem like temporary deals trying to make a few bucks fast. |
