Empirepoker table display problem

So, I recently got a shiny 2001FP and was ready to step into the world of multitabling.

When I open up a table, the window has the table shifted to the upperleft corner with a large black border on the right and bottom.

So instead of the table being 800x600 in size, it is larger (looks to be 1024x768 at least). Has anyone come across this issue before? I'm running the monitor at 1600x1200.

right click desktop and go to properties. Settings tab. Advanced. General tab. change DPI setting back to normal(96).
