there should be a link for abbreviations on your left

ROI is return on investment - its usually used by sit and go tournament players as a means to measure there performance - ie if they play 100 $50+$5 sit and gos and win $550 their ROI would be 10% - it is most commonly used in the single table tournament forum

Yes, mostly used to calculate Sit and go earnings. Make sure to include the rake that the poker room charges on the total investment, e.g. $10+1 instead of $10. When you mutliply all tournaments played by all buyins+fees, you get the investment/ Then profit/investement= ROI.

Speaking of abbreviations (I just viewed the 2+2 list of them), does anyone have a list of abbreviations used on PokerTracker?

TIA Dave
