Unless I have a really solid read on the villain, I'm not folding an overpair to a turn c/r on a board like this. There are just far too many worse hands that would feel justified in pulling that move vs. a preflop raiser. I play it exactly the same as you did.

Tough hand.

I would play this the same way and feel like a dope when he shows me a set. I think players better than me can fold it. If I find out they can't, or shouldn't, I'll feel better.

Is 4.5:1 on calling down enough? I really don't know.

i would also not lay this one down, although it is a good idea to look for spots to lay down your hands on the turn when you're check-raised.

i would, on the other hand, lay the chick in your avatar down. that photo spread of hers is probably the best one i've ever seen where the subject doesn't get nekkid in the end.

Who the hell is that, btw?

I'm not laying down that overpair, either...but I'm very mediocre.

If you never folded an overpair HU on a board that can't make a straight or a flush you would be playing pretty much perfect.

Like Ed Miller says, making "big laydowns" isn't a hallmark of expert play in limit hold'em.

I would only lay this down against a weak/tight ABC nit or an extremely passive player. If you're playing against an unknown player, a LAG, or a tough thinking player, you've got to call down here.

That's my line. Unless villain is an extreme straight-forward rock, I call down.
