5-10 NL in AC whats the game look like.
Heres the deal. I am very succesful at the 1-2 NL game down in AC. Which really says absolutly nothing as the games at that level are absolutly terrible. If you read on book and stick to it you shouild be consistently crushing the games. My bankroll is starting to get to the level where i could play the 5-10. Just curious to those who play it how if plays? I heard from mnay its the same fish with more money? Just cuirous how much harder this games play. I need to move up soon because i want to improve. Its just hard to leave the 1-2 game since it is the closest you get to free money in this world. Its almost 0 risk.

I played the 2-5 in new york and crushed it too. Also the 2-5 in AC barly exists there are more 5-10 games going thats why i plan on skipping. Evrey time i sign up for the 2-5 game the waits are unbearable which leads me to play table games which is the biggest leak in my game. But thats another story.

Re: 5-10 NL in AC whats the game look like.
I was going to say, my sample size may be small, but when I've been to AC I've only played 2/5 NL. Granted I've only played at the The Borgata and the Taj. However from now on unless I play in a tournament I will be only playing at The Borgata which always has a 2/5 game going.

ya the 2-5 NL game is clearly the next step for you. And from what i've noticed the wait on a 2/5 table is typically shorter than that of the 1/2 game. I think you are leaping to the wrong level if you play 5/10 NL from 1/2 NL.

Here's an idea...Put ur name on the 2/5 list, play at 1/2 and build a stack there...Get called to 2/5 take your stack there and see what you can do...Jumping that much is idiotic and your variance will go through the roof

The 5/10 at the borg sucks, the 2/5 though is incredible. Play that.

[/ QUOTE ] cut out table games unless we've got dragons at the table worth playing with. if you want to play nl 5/10 play it online first. its clearly tricker online so that would be a good place to start and the casino would be a great place to clean house |
