only if you're really fond of giving people free cards to beat you. slowing down here is the worst thing you could do

I'd check/call the river. Your probably not going to get called by anyone you beat, but you might get raised by someone who made a straight and you'd probably want to call that, costing you an additional bet.

Tons of stuff will call if you bet but will not bet if you check, for fear of the straight. It's an easy fold if you're raised unless you have a special read.
