depends

tho, the fact you posted anything about the hand after your fold leads me to believe you are results oriented (especailly considering the hnad). Which is bad

I am brand new to posting hands and using bison converter. I am guessing then i should have simply asked the question without posting the hand? Define results oriented. Do you mean to think my focus is on the amount won instead of how my play is?

You didnt do anything wrong with your post. I just found it interesting you posted the rest of the hand, when your question was what to do with KJs PF to a raise. The rest of the hand has no bearing on your question. Im leaping to the assumption that you believe you would have won this hand, and so that has caused you to wonder even more about your original question. Typically that line of thinking is bad in poker.

I see what your saying. My delima has been a feeling that this hand should be played but to 3 bet or cold call, which is wrong short handed IMO. But deciding to 3 bet this hand preflop, what am i hoping for on the flop, I mean the best possible scenerio? If I hit the king, im worried about KQo or slick. Pairing the jack would not be bad but subject to the dreaded ace if it comes. Flopping a flush draw 11 to 1 or something like that then hitting it 33% of the time give opr take? Any thoughts?

Cold calling short handed isnt necessarily wrong. There are no absolute rules in poker.

Anyway, the way I play this hand depends alot on my oppoents. Is UTG tight, or is he loose? Are the blinds tight or are they loose? If UTG is tight and the blinds are tight, its a pretty easy fold. If UTG is average and the blinds are loose I'll cold call. If UTG is weak I'll 3 bet.

If you 3 bet, you pretty much bet any flop regardless. The way the hand plays from there is way too complex to easily sum up, and depends on a ton of factors.

it depends on how loose UTG is. if hes any reasonably tight this is a fold, but against maniacs 3betting here is standard.

Yes, if you have a preflop question, do not post any part of the hand after the preflop action.
