Default 99 OOP, wtf do I do on the turn?

I have literally less than 10 hands on villain, and he seems to be a loose player. Not sure what his aggression is like.

Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (6 max, 3 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
Button calls, 1 fold, Hero raises, Button calls.

Flop: (4.33 SB) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets, Button calls.

Turn: (3.16 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero??

I reeeaaally don't want to let him outplay me by raising a bet here (which would mean I fold, yes?), but checking just seems so weak. Thoughts?

Default Re: 99 OOP, wtf do I do on the turn?

I would rather bet fold than check/call or check/fold.
