this is the hand. Would you make the call on the river?

About Villain: He is a solid player, who hasn't done anything stupid, as far as I have noticed.

So, would you call the river bet? Would you play the hand differently? If yes, what would you do different?

Bet the river. Checking is horrible here.

Ok, assume I bet the river. What do I do if he reraises me?

So you bet 3k into the pot, and he reraises you allin? Then I think you can fold to a very draw heavy board where two draws came in, considering the read on the player.

Well, the way you let it play out, I think you have to call his 5k bet. He simply could be betting that with any two after all that checking and 8+k in the pot.

Well, he did end up having KK, hitting his set on the flop, but I agree. I have to call the bet, but it would have been better if I bet out on the river!
Damn, still lots of stuff for me to improve on! lol

Well. HE has quite a bit to improve on. He waited until there were plenty of hands that beat him, then tried to get value. I was going to say earlier, if he had AK, JJ or KK, he's a moron.

now, he is hte chip leader of the tournament, drawing like a mother, beating my AQs with A8o and stuff like that.
