I think the preflop call was ok because I was sooted and my hand played well in a big multiway pot. Thinking about it I can't decide if I should try and check raise the river or not. I lead out figuring if no one had an A it would get checked around and I'd miss out on bets, and also hoped that someone with an A would bump giving me a chance to 3-bet.

Anyone play this different?

Edit: Woah I didn't realize you called three cold, fold pf

I'd consider a fold on the flop given the action, since you could be looking at only the backdoor flush outs as being clean, though if you just discount to 4.5 outs you're doing it with implied odds.

As for the turn I lead as a semi-bluff often enough here. Since you didn't lead the turn you can't checkraise this river, your cold call is like screaming I HAVE A FLUSH DRAW BIATCHES at the top of your lungs and you're not getting better results than you did here. Hey if they're dumb enough to bet after that turn action they might be dumb enough to raise your river bet and you can bet/3 bet.

I estimated 3 outs for the gutshot, 1 out for the aces, and 1.5 outs for the backdoor flush . . so 5.5 outs and getting 10 to 1 on the call and if capped or 3-bet no worse then 6-7 to 1 I figured I was more than good.

I dont think you can give your gutshot 3 outs cause your choppin with another ace and theres probably another one out there.

Possible to play a flopped openended straight draw in this manner if I held a 3 but I guess 33 or A3s is unlikely given the preflop coldcall unless they think I'm a donk.

I hate leading the turn here. Semi-bluff? Not much bluff in here. If the players are aware they will probbaly see your donk-bet bet as picking up a draw and you will be raised by a better hand.

Pf is, what... ~3.5:1 when you have to make your decision? You're probably ok in the better scenarios, but there's no guarantee that UTG calls 2 more and UTG+2 might cap. Seems a bit loose overall.

You're along for the ride flop and turn, and I like the river bet.
