If you're going to fold to a raise why not check/call to get to showdown?

because only better hands are vaule betting this river and worse hands are checking through. The only raising hand I beat is a bluff (or weirdly slowplayed Ak, AA), whereas there are plenty of worse hands that call.

With no read i'd call the raise. This is way too easy of a board to try a bluff raise on the river or some other wacky move. I remember seeing that happen every now and then at 3/6, enough to call the raise at least. If you have even a slight read the guy is normal or passive you probably can ditch.
