I'm doing a little project and need some info.
How much do the better 2000 NL players on party expect as an hourly rate? If you are providing your own win rate also provide aproximately how many hands/hours/avg.#tables the rate is based on. If you are estimating, at least try and back up your data with something. |

I'm not going to post my HR because I don't have very many hands. But, if you just want an estimate....
4BB/100 hands, 50 hands/hour, 4 tables = $320/hour. These numbers are conservative, a good player can make more than 4BB/100 and I believe an avg. table deals slightly more than 50 hands/hour, but you get the idea. JKratzer |

those numbers arent all that conservative
most people dont multitable that well, and cant make the best reads while 4 tabling although the smaller player base for the 2000NL would help |

If those are the conservative numbers, you guys have a nice little edge on hourly rate against the 30/60 limit regulars.

NL2000/ 1000 6max is a GOLDMINE compared to limit, with way less swings.

I wouldn't go that far but you guys have at least a 20% edge. This is interesting because there is on average 3x as many 30/60 tables as there is 2000 NL tables.
I'm still interested in hearing more thoughts on win rates. |

[/ QUOTE ] I think it's that NL is less popular than limit? I don't really like the statement that NL is harder to play than limit. Especially when Party's top NL players have higher win rates than Party's top limit players with lower variance. I'd find NL much easier to play under these circumstances. |

[/ QUOTE ] Very true if you never tilt edit: I take that back....reads so much more important IMO in NL and just takes more energy..and your PT stats mean a lot less (i.e. pf rz % is all you need to know in limit, but in NL, this # includes minirz and 5XBB rz |
