Default How big of a moran is this kid? (WSOP Content)

from gutshot's wsop updates (Dave is the devilfish)

"The maniac lady who Dave loaned most of his chips to, called the floor on him as he prepared a raise with his last $2,000. Reason? Talking on his mobile during the deal. His hand was mucked. He then offers a young kid $10,000 for 25% of his action as he knew it would be one of them to get the chips on the table. He turns down the offer."

For those who need a translation:

Devilfish offered to pay a kid at his table $10,000 (thus making the tourney a freeroll for him) for 25% of his action, and the kid turned it down. On the first day of the tourney nonetheless.

If you don't see why then that explains even more about your HUD post.

If you don't see why it was completely stupid to turn that offer down, I'm going to start to wonder if thats a self-picture in your avatar.

It all depends on how many chips the guy had. It is theoretically possible for it to be a bad offer, just not that likely at this point.

Maybe the kid had already presold all pieces of himself and couldn't do the deal with Dave?

Then he could have taken the 10k and busted out intentionally. Not morally correct thing to do, but +EV!
