Default Hollywood Park ownership change -- any impact?

So the Hollywood Park racetrack in LA has been sold -- Churchill Downs sold it to Bay Meadows (a northern CA track ownership group). The article I saw on the matter ends with the statement:

[ QUOTE ]

Its card club operation, run by Pinnacle Entertainment, will continue to be managed by Pinnacle.

[/ QUOTE ]
...of course, the rest of the article is about how Bay Meadows plans to use this acquisition to push for more lenient gaming laws in CA, and failing that they're going to redevelop the property (in the next three years or so) as "a mixed-use project with substantial housing and retail".

I don't know anything about Pinnacle; if Bay Meadows goes along with the redevelopment plans, does anyone have any idea how that might impact the card room?

(I'm not particularly enamored of the room -- the only two times I was there, I was playing low-limit with people who couldn't stop bitching at other people at the table -- but it is conveniently located right next to LAX, so when my meetings get out early and my flight home is late...)
