Default AC vs. LV

I live in Minnesota. I've never been to AC, but have been to Vegas on several occasions. Is going to AC worth it, or should I just go to Vegas when I decide to take a poker trip?

AC is definitely getting better in the last few years as others compete to catch up with the Borgata.

That being said, unless its an easy drive to AC I'd say Vegas everytime.

Personally, I don't really think AC offers that much more than Vegas in terms of poker. The only exception may be is if you like to play 7 Card Stud. Much better 7CS action in AC.

In general AC is a crummy place. But it does have the beach if that interests you. Philly is also just an hour away.

I just took a trip to AC expecting a mini-Vegas. What I got was prostitute ridden hell hole. Spent almost all of my awake time at the Borgata, but there was absolutely nothing else to do. The night life sucked and the Boardwalk is way overrated.

Gots to go to Vegas.

Bob,

I hate to sound cliche here..however.. ITS NOT EVEN CLOSE ...go to Vegas.

This comes from an AC regular who has played in Vegas..once.
