Per Flop Raise, # of BB

I know this is basic..I need to pre flop raise more..MY PT stats (6Max) are around PF raies-5 and I want to at least double it... With preimum hands I have no trouble PF Raising 3-4BB. Its those J-10 off suits that I become unsure of the PF raise making it 2BB.

Would I be right to always PF raise the same anount..And is there a preference of 3 or 4 BB as a general rule?
