Default Strange Question about Varience

I have an odd question about - Varience. Let's say that I'm on a down streak and a friend is running good. If that friend comes over and sits at my computer or live table and takes over my seat that he will start running good while my time at that seat I've been running bad? It may be a dumb question but it's something I've been thinking about and was just wondering what you guys might have to say on the subject. thanks

Wrong. A person is not predestined to run good or bad based on past performance. So if someone has been running good for the past 100 hands, it says nothing about how he will do in the future. Each hand is completely random and unrelated to past hands.

You must rely on the law of the maturity of chances.
