How do you guys interpret villans check-raise followed by turn stop and go allin? fairly standard to go allin on this board after all that preflop-pot inflating? I thought check-minraise on the flop could either be 77/kk/ak/aa and called to see what he'd do on the turn he moved in on turn, I called getting close to 3:1. critiques tear away. |

Re: boring AKs
if you are going to call a push on the turn, you should just push the flop. If he is semibluffing, this should do well.

Re: boring AKs
i need to clarify this.. i thought villan checkminraised but after seeing the HH again, he didn't minraise me.
those were really any hands that came up to my mind... so according to this range, I'm either breaking even or huge underdog, therefore i should have folded to the checkraise i guess? |

First of all I think this is a pretty narrow hand range to put him on. Second of all - NOW that this actually is the hand range you put him on - why on earth are you calling? The pot will be around 400, he has 150 left - what do you think he will do on the turn? |

Re: boring AKs
Yes, fold of cause to his reraise if thats the hands he can have, there is no money to collect.
If you expands his hands a bit, some bigger pairs could be possible and KQ, but it's playerdependent. I don't like calling. If you want to put more in after his checkraise, I think a push is much better. You end up with everything in the middle anyway. |

Re: boring AKs
I think id fold the flop. You're probably in deep stuff, ppl dont check raise solid preflop reraisers when a K flops without monsters. He's probably got AA or KK and wanted to pick up your continuation from QQ/JJ and at the same time offer you irresistable odds if you had AK, knowing if you call the flop you're committed.
