Default Bankroll

Do you take into consideration if you are multi tablein, 2-3 tables, into your bankroll.

I just cahsed out 9k on party in a month, im going to put 4k back on and do 3 200 tables, is this roll big enough for 3 200 tables?

4K is MORE than enough for 3 tabling NL200. I usually only have 10x buyins when I start a given limit, and I 3-4 table.

so to answer your question, if you are only playing 3 tables, don't change your BR required.

I'm going to quote from the bible of NLHE cash games, i hope I don't get sued for this..so go buy the book, cheap skates..

From Mastering No-Limit Hold'em by Russel Fox & Scott T. Harker

"While there is no set guidline; we would like to recommend 20 buy-ins be in your bankroll"

...okay..

10 buy ins is very risky if you are playing maybe 600nl and up.

then more like 15 should be good. and for 2k and up, at least 20-25.

20 buyins is a good rule of thumb. For example, I keep 20K in my roll for 5/10. When I hit about 25K, I cash it down to 20K again.

But I would say if you are willing to reload, 10 is fine. If you absolutely want to have no chance of going broke, 20 is very safe.

I personally have never lost more than about 5 buyins in a row, and I multitable.

I used to be fine with about 10-15 buy-ins when I played 2/4, but I'm way overrolled for 3/6 and 5/10 (about 30k), and I really like having the cushion. I had a bad June, and the huge roll made it a little bit easier.

some people don't seem to understand the concept of bankroll management. You don't NEED 20x buyin at the site you are playing at. You can just have like 6-7 x max buyin (assuming you'll be 4-tabling), just so you have enough at the time for quick reloads if you bust. You just need 20x buyin in your POKER bankroll, meaning you can have like 25% of it on party, 75% of it on neteller or something like that. If you drop to 3x max buyin, you can just deposit some more.
