Ok, so my first hand post. Reads without pokertracker are slim. I have SB as solid enough, he raised out of BB one other time with AA, he seemed to do so with his premium pf holdings. This is just about all I am working with assuming standard-loose .25-.50 table.
Paradise Poker 0.25/0.50 Hold'em (6 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is CO with T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. UTG posts a blind of $0.25. MP calls, Hero calls, Button calls, SB completes, UTG (poster) raises, MP calls, Hero calls, Button calls, SB calls. Flop: (10 SB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (6 players) SB checks, UTG checks, MP checks, Hero checks, Button checks. Turn: (5 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (6 players) SB bets, UTG calls, MP calls, Hero raises, Button folds, SB calls, UTG calls, MP calls. River: (13 BB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (5 players) Final Pot: 13 BB I raised the turn because I thought we had an edge in equity here. Perhaps this is a call? The SB bets the river, UTG and MP both call, what is the plan now? |

what happened to the BB?
edit I'm dumb and misread his hand: well of course the OESD really helps things, yeah this is a good raise oops |

He's got an OESD too, for 13 great outs and 2 alright ones. It is for value, but it is probably better to invest less now so you can make more on the river when you make your flush or straight.

You have OESD + flush draw and three people already in. This is for value and I like it.

[/ QUOTE ] if you only call here you will get all these bets + the BB might had came along. if you raise the turn you will probly not get much action on the river when you bet. when you hit on the river you can raise if you only smooth call. i'd rather call =( |

yep you got that right! IF SB bets the river and they all call before me and I raise, I will win more than raising now. But you can't be sure that the SB will bet (and others before you call) when that third flush card comes. They might be scared of that.
But now you have +ev situation and it is 100 % that the limpers will call your raise. Better use this +ev situation and take their money when you can, right? Is my thinking terrible? But now when I have thought of this a couple of minutes more... I think I will just call too |

He's asking about what to do on the river. With the 4th nut I call and look around for the neighbor's cat.

Before that, the comments were on the turn action. I don't have a cat to kick. My dog died. There is only a coyote howling in the neighborhood. |
