I see people talking about this description of a player/table and i dont know exactly what it means. i know what LAG, TAG, LPP, etc. mean but not this one. Thanks...

Weak is a player trait indicating he will easily believe he's beat. A weak tight player is someone who only plays premium hands but when an overcard hits or someone bets at him strongly, he shuts down believing himself beat.
Weak tight players make "great laydowns" and see monsters under the bed regularly. It's almost always weak-tight. I've never seen, say, a weak-loose player. Regards, T |

monsters under the bed - Expression for usually worrying about things that arn't there/dont exsist.
For example a 5 year old going to his mums room at night because he thinks monsters are under his bed, Highly unlikly but still scared. Weak-Tight playing assuming his KK is beat because an A hit on the turn and someone betted or even called... |
