Villain was very loose and aggressive over about 60 hands (61/18/1.30)

This should read Hero 3-bets. Call a cap. You have way too much hand here to not raise for value. If he really does have a 4, well, so be it.

You assume too much. This could mean that hero was "lost" as to how to play it. Stop being results oriented :P

He's pretty aggressive, the stop and go doesn't scare me just because the 4 paired. I would raise the turn.

This hand is a bit special too, because it looks like you might be raising light due to the two "posters".

Cap preflop.
Flop is g00t
Turn, 3-bet it.
River Im less likely to give SB credit for quads. I 3-bet.

Unless SB is a TAG player most ppl do not wait to raise the river with Quads. Even with that said, with this much action going on in the hand, quads should be much more active.
