Default An interesting hand. Play my cards for me.

Yes, this is shorthanded. More shorthanded than most of you are accustomed to. But I think it could stand to be a fun one for all of you. 3-handed at Party's $5/10 6max.

My reads: BB is loose and generally passive preflop (82/3/1), but makes very odd plays postflop. His aggression factor, as you will note, is very high for someone limping that many hands. He's the reason I'm in this game -- it's like having an ATM next to me. He will bet draws and pairs and occasionally nothing at all on scary boards.

SB is loose and aggressive, slightly passive preflop (45/14/3). He will bet pairs and draws and make strange plays, but he's not retarded (unlike BB) and can read a board.

I'm the Button. My image is good, strong, been winning a lot. Doing a TON of raising, as is usual with my 3-handed game. Obviously that means that I'm also folding when I have a hopeless hand and a small pot (like if BB leads into me when I have A5o on a J84 board). My image probably dictates that I am capable of folding when beaten, but I can't be sure of that.

Anyway. Let's start this off simple. I'm on the button with K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. What's my play?

Definitely raise. You have an equity edge over the random hands in the blind, plus you'd like to drive out the trickier small blind and play heads up with the loose, idiot BB, who will most likely call.

Is 14 passive preflop because it's 3-handed? Or is that a typo?

Ok. We raise. SB and BB call. The pot is 6SB.

The flop is J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. SB checks and BB bets into us. What's our play, and why?

*grunch*

On the button you should be raising 100% of the hands you play. In the SB you should be raising/reraising 100% of the hands you play. So I would expect most players to have PFRs in excess of 14%.

Raise again. BB makes goofy plays and could be betting with any of the many draws on this board, or a weaker pair. So we're likely ahead of him and have a redraw if we're behind. Also, I'd like to see SB get the hell out of this hand.
