Default Early bird gets the worm

It's 8:43 on the east coast and the 30/60 is astonishingly good. California night owls maybe. I'm at 4 full tables with unweighted average VPIPs of 36, 43, 26, 29. (Passive too: PFR 13, 12, 9, 11.)

If you're a bird, I guess you know the lesson. But if you're a worm, sleep late.

Here's a pretty routine hand with however a couple of marginal choices. Wasn't thrilled with the way I played it but I'm not sure what I'd change. The turn check clearly is reckoning that a deuce will check-raise, and not being confident I will (or should) find a fold in that scenario.

Eight-handed 30/60. MP is 19/12, BB is 36/10 over 70 hands.

I see no reason to check the turn.

Why not bet the turn? If checkraised its an easy fold.

except against a bare 2 he's got like 9 outs, and he's getting well better than the price there.
