Re: should i be betting on the end here instead of checking?
You should bet on the end if you think it's a little better than 50/50 that if you get called you will have a better hand than the caller. Do you think that's the case in this situation?

Re: should i be betting on the end here instead of checking?
this pot is not big enough to fight for it with bottom pair no kicker. You're not gonna buy someone off an Ace here. The bet on the flop is marginal at best the turn bet is spewing. Maybe I'm weak/tight but I don't bet bottom pair duece kicker.

Re: should i be betting on the end here instead of checking?
Bottom pair is not that great a hand, and I would not have bet it on the flop.
But you managed to fold out the button. And then when a T fell on the turn, SB checked. That suggested that he didnt have either an A or a T as he checked to you on both the flop and turn. And when he checked on the river after the third [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] fell, that suggested that he didnt have the flush. Trouble is that SB probably wouldnt have called a river bet with a weaker hand than your bottom pair. So your best play was probably to just check behind him. |
