You mean should you consider open folding on the river? I think you played the river correctly. If raised (which he didn't do) then you can think about folding.

If either of the two villians are aggressive you could also have considered a C/R on the flop.

You were very unlucky that your 2 pair got counterfeited like that.

You obviously didnt need to bet the river. And of course if your opponent bet you would have to call. If he had the 6 that was just bad luck.

And NO you should not have folded on the river !

Funny.

How could you possibly fold to a raise? The chances have to be better than the pot odds that someone's just raising based on the board. Given this sequence, how often will someone have a 6? More than 16% of the time they raise and don't? That seems very unlikely. If it were 2 bets you could think about folding, but only because the pot's not very big, and you're just playing for a split anyway. But folding for 1 bet here seems to me to be a large mistake.

RIVER: Check/call better. It can save you a bet if Villian raises with a six. Alternately, if UTG+1 is confused or not paying attention, then betting is good because he might fold. I've seen it happen a couple of times in multiway pots where someone folds and everyone else is playing the board.

I personally would not fold to a raise in this situation. I was just trying to answer his question of "should I fold here" and thinking of when you could consider it. I was having a hard time thinking of a scenario of when it would be correct to fold.
