Default Quick preflop 6 max

I know you shouldn't just call if someone raises before you PF very often at all, but if you raise with any marginal hand from mp like KJ or AJ 88, ect and get raised, can you smooth call that raise? or would it be better to 3-bet most of the time and if they cap know your in deep poop if the flop doesn't help you in some profound way.

I'll be starting 6-max next week and the above question is something i haven't figured out from full ring yet.

thanks,

galahad

Your question doesn't make much sense. If you raise from MP and get raised, then your actions are to cap or to call his 3-bet. You cannot 3-bet since he already did that with his raise

If you raise with a marginal hand and get 3-bet you should call. If someone else raises first in you should very rarely call, either fold or 3-bet. But when you raise and get 3-bet calling is a perfectly respectable option.

deep poop?

More often than not you're correct to call when you raised and were later 3-bet.

AJo, KJo and 88 aren't "marginal" hands to raise from mp, these are hands you should be raising from UTG in 6 max and be very happy doing it.
