Default TP+nut flush draw

Villian is 78% VPIP 3% PFR over 69 hands, very stupid and calls down anything

Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, MP1 calls, <font color="#666666">5 folds</font>, BB calls.

Flop: (6.50 SB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">BB bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, MP1 calls, <font color="#CC3333">BB 3-bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero caps</font>, MP1 folds, BB calls.

wahoo! flopped monster and someone wants to war with me!

Turn: (8.25 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">BB bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">BB 3-bets</font>, Hero ??

Should I keep raising? He's a moron and I wouldn't give him credit for anything much better than me, but there's that chance...

You said he likes to call down with anything, that doesn't mean he'll cap 2 streets with anything. Is he light on his raises/caps? Of he'll do this with something you beat, cap by all means.

No matter how stupid someone is, I think after the bet, reraise, bet into the capper, and reraise we can start to narrow down his hands to include a lot of hands that beat you and precious few that don't.

What non-ridiculous hand that you beat plays the way he did it? J9s?

Well - I ended up calling him down. River comes offsuit jack and he shows J9o to take down the pot. Amusing if anything

You didn't post his post-flop aggression number, but I assume from your description that your opponent is fairly passive.

I think a set is very likely, so I'm calling the turn bet and only calling the river even if I improve to a flush.

Fairly certain you are behind after he leads the turn. I don't think you're ahead often enough to justify raising the turn.

You way overplayed this. Pumping the flop is fine; pumping the turn is poor. Just call the turn bet, and just call the river unless your flush hits.
