Default Live 10/20 NL Bellagio Hand

not exactly sure what my image was but I can say that a few hands earlier, I raised from MP with 7c5c and made quad 7's and got to show the hand down because a player was all-in....

anyway, two limpers to me on the button and I make it $60 to go with A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and ~$2k behind.....both blinds call and so do the limpers....

flop ($300) is J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

checked to me, I bet $200, SB calls, everyone else folds...

I have no read on SB, he's pretty new to the table....

turn ($700) is T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

check, check

river ($700) is A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

he checks, I ???.....

(he has ~$850 left)

Value bet 400 or so. He might not call if you bet more than 500 given his stack. If you throw in 400 he might just push.

I would bet about 1/2 the pot and if he raises it's an easy fold.

What?? So you bet about 350, and he pushes for 500 more you fold?
You make this fold regularly when calling 500 to win 1550 in such a situation?
If you do this against a semi-decent or better 10-20 nl player youll get run over.

Isn't this an easy check behind?
Pot is $700. Our hand isn't worth getting into a pot that, due to pot odds if our value bet is raised, suddenly becomes a $2400 pot.

He will raise with anything that beats you here, and fold worse hands, because your hand is fairly easy to read.

how likely is it that he checks a hand that's beating us on the river? seems like it would be a good time to bet if he can beat AK, since hero's hand is "easy to read".

First off, I dont really like your raise. You have a better hand than them, and the best position. Why not raise to something like 100 or 120. They saw your raise with 7,5 so I think yuo'll get action anyways as this will look like a steal. About the current hand, I too like checking behind. He may be one of those chronic slowplayers and AJ seems to me like a very reasonable holding. If he has that and you bet, you will lose 850 since you are almost forced to call his small river raise. I like a check, TPTK, he raps and you take it.

I would either check behind or stick in his $850. I'm wavering on which way to go. Hard to decide not being there.
