Question to europeans / money transfers from one site to another
Crosspost from the N,V&G forum
Anyone can help me with this problem? Usually I do deposit money to sites via Visa or Mastercard and cashout via check or larger sums via wire transfer. Both ways arenīt really satisfying, since checks take up to 14 days to arrive (Empire/Party this is, Stars is way faster) and about another 14 days to clear, wire transfers (Party/Empire) cost 35$ each, and you can "only" cashout $7500 max. So if you want to cash out more than $7500 via wire, you have to pay the $35 fee again. Now I understand that via firepay you can transfer money from your accout at firepay to and from different pokersites without costs very fast, right? So this seems to me like sort of a "superior pokeraccount" (of course one can use it for other transfers, too, but in my case Iīd only be interested in it for poker transfers) The problem is: Firepay seems to be only for people with an US bank account. Since I live in Austria I donīt have any bank account in the US. Does anyone know, whether there is something like Firepay (i.e. accepting transfers from and to gambling sites) for europeans, too? Thanks in advance Martin Aigner |

Re: Question to europeans / money transfers from one site to another
Do like everybody else, use Neteller.
www.NETELLER.COM First open an account, rhen certify it and ask for a debit card. Just follow the instructions at the website. If you wish to withdraw large amounts, they will credit your bank account or for a small fee (20$ I think) they will send you a check of any amount with FedEx (takes about 2 days) Neteller transactions from Neteller to the sites are instantly processed. The other way around, (from the poker site to your Neteller account) takes from a few seconds to a couple of days (a few hours normally) depending on the site you play at. Hope this helps, Gl to you, William |

Thanks. One more question: How long does it usually take to transfer from Neteller to the bank accout?

Actually, withdrawing directly to your bank (EFT) is free. Checks (Fedex) are $10 to the US, or $20 anywhere else.
They DO charge if you have to convert currency, though, like 1.9% conversion charge. |

Thanks. One more question: How long does it usually take to transfer from Neteller to the bank accout? Martin Aigner [/ QUOTE ] My most recent withdrawal took 2 days. (Requested 21-Jun, credited 23-Jun). I am in the US, I don't know if the times vary elsewhere, but they state 3-5 days for EFT transfers. |

You could also get a Eurobet account. They let you withdraw directly to your bank account. (You have to contact them and ask them to add this option in the cashier for you.) My last cashout took ca 4 work days. It involves no fees other than those of your bank (ca 2.5 euro in my case).
