Ok, I\'m gonna try movin up to 1/2 (no content)
With a little encouragement from a few of you after posting my 35k .5/1 hands, I decided to give it a shot. Here's how my first night went. Absolute...2 full rings, 1 6max. I wouldn't blame you for telling me to just start with one table...I'm just so used to 3-tabling (and sooo boring playing just one). Please don't let every night go like this...I won't be able to take it!

If I have a bunch of rollercoaster nights like that, though, I might rethink it. [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img] One good thing...the bonus sure clears a lot more quickly.

Do you have any 6 max experience? I have a hard time playing 6 max and full ring at the same time. I would recommend playing 2 6 max instead of 2 ring and one 6 max. Just be patient, your draws will come in.

Why would you recommend 2 6-max tables instead? To build my experience? Looser tables? Faster bonus clearing? All of the above?

If 40 BB swings freak you out my advice is get used to it. I go on 50 BB swings at 1/2 6m every 15 min.

I once had a 250BB downswing over 5000 hands of .5/1, so I'm sure I can weather short ones like this. I think it's just my innate fear of 1/2. But it's good (and bad) to hear you have downswings like this on a regular basis.
