Default who would you bankroll?

I have a question......of all the people that have posted on here and have given advice, who would you bankroll? Let's say the game is 20-40 hold'em and you can choose one 2+2 poster to bankroll, who would it be and why?
Give examples of why as well.

Please don't include David Sklansky or Mason Malmuth or any other well renown professional, choose an avid 2+2 poster. If it's you....tell us why?

This should be fun!

most of all our posters that regularly post i would bankroll in resonable games. the people here all think right and act well on their hands. some make lots of mistakes and some dont. but all of them play basically well enough to be long term winners. tom haley and louie landale have been with us since the beginning and do know their stuff. greg raymer, clarky, dynasty, angelo, flynn, boris, ohnonotagain, limon, zeno, howard, decaprio, phat mack, bostick,
sittingbull, vehn, ohkanada, focker, broker, babe, whisk eytown, hotchile, prince, hdpm, pohl, morgan, joshw, sucker, andy fox, nicky g, and lots more that my fingers cant go anymore but you get the picture.

Clark(but I would consider it a high-risk investment), Tommy Angelo, snakehead

I would say vehn, but I'm not sure if he'd be able to easily transition from 9-18 to 20-40

Like Ray, I'd roll most regular posters here, but in particular:

Tommy A, PokerBabe, Mikelow, Mike L, Dynasty, Skp, just to name a few. All of these people have given great advice to me over the past while, (along with others, but these people stand out) or I've seen them play.

Intersting post.

Where to start? For limit holdem I'd go with Tommy Angelo and Jim Brier in a heartbeat. They are superb and also extremely honest.

If Vince Lepore's not tilting and pokerbabe plays as consistently as people seem to think, they get my money immediately, they'd be great choices. Heck you should sponsor Vince just to hear him rant. Andy Fox and Rick Nebiolo are excellent as well, but Andy has to wear his bifocals or the deal's off. ;-) Greg Raymer, John Feeney, louie landale don't publish much here but would also be great choices. Boris when he's sober. ;-) Like Ray said, there are _many_ good players on this forum. Only questions in my mind are what's the opposition and how much do they tilt.

And I'll take anyone with experience and patience who's been coached by Tommy.

For PL/NL give me Greg Raymer, limon and natedogg for sure, add xeno if he doesn't tilt.

I was thinking of going to Vegas for the seminar April 25 and PL at the Horseshoe but am thinking why would I want to play you guys.

"I have a question......of all the people that have posted on here and have given advice, who would you bankroll?"

I don't mean to shy away from the question, but I couldn't bankroll someone I've never played against. And not because of the money. Because of behavior. I couldn't stand the thought of any of my dollars going to war in the hands of an abuser, even of the mildest sort.

Plus, motive would weigh in heavy. Would I be bankrolling to make money for me? Or would it be to do someone a favor?

Let's assume it would be for profit only. Next question is, would anyone offer a deal that I should accept based on finances only? Let's say I were to bankroll a $20-40 player with $10,000. Would the deal we struck be better for me than putting that money in blue-chip stock, or in a can in my yard? I doubt it.

All that said, I'd bankroll just about anyone, on the spot, in a casino, if I felt like it. Definitely any 2+2er that wasn't glumpy.

Tommy

I'm in agreement with Tommy Angelo about not bankrolling someone I haven't played against but for a different reason. Some of the 2+2 posters don't play as well as they sound on these posts!

I think the majority of the regular posters are strong players. In fact I would say over half of the people with over 100 posts win at least 1 small bet every 35 hands in whatever game and limit they play. But its easy to talk the talk too. A novice could (and has) come here, spend a few days reading posts, and then crank out responses to hands that are identical to the "2+2 forum" style of hold'em. So I'd have to pick the people that stand out. You know how when you're at the table playing, not involved in a hand but in that "2/3rds paying attention" stage and you're watching the hand play out, and at the showdown or you see someone's cards and like a bolt of lightning you're just in awe of how well someone played the hand? I would pick the people that occasionally do that for me on this forum. I would pick the people that I've seen post a hand they've played poorly. I would pick the people I've seen post a hand they lost. I would pick people who I've actually seen post hands before, or can otherwise verify that they actually play poker rather than just surf this site criticizing other people's hands. I would pick B&M players as I think playing internet poker optimally requires enormous amounts of concentration and just work in terms of note-taking on opponents and game selection, and the vast majority of net players don't put in that work. I would pick people who have been playing for more than 2 years and shown a commitment to getting somewhere in this game. But most likely, if I had $10K lying around I would just bankroll myself instead of grinding my way up there like I have been.

I would say vehn, but I'm not sure if he'd be able to easily transition from 9-18 to 20-40

We'll find out I guess. I took my first shot at $15/$30 last weekend and my first impression was somewhat less weak and somewhat more aggressive than my normal game, but still pretty soft. My second impression was my opponents missed several bets against me while all my big pairs lost to sets and flopped trips and my ace-bigs lost to ace-rag sooteds when they spiked their kickers Although the guy who had pocket eights while I had AQ in the 2nd hand dealt to me did play it well when the flop came Q Q 8 Welp back to the grind huh.
