Default CWS

Did anyone see the Nebraska - Arizona State game?

It was great, one guy hits 3 home runs, Nebraska down 2 in the 9th, guy hits 3 run homer and they get one more run, ASU ties it in the bottom of the 9th and wins in the 11th.

Anyone have any predictions?

Florida - ASU

Baylor - Texas

I'm going with Texas vs. Arizona State in the championship series, Texas wins in 2.

Florida will not lose 2 straight to ASU. Neither will Texas to Baylor.

I am biased (born in Gainesville, lived til 22), so I am picking Florida over Texas in 3 games.

Normally I wouldnt pick the team that has to win 2 straight, however, ASU has had some unbelievable comebacks, vs. NU and Cal State Fullerton in the super regional where the first game ended on a balk that would cut the heart out of most teams.

There just seems to be something about ASU. Who knows, maybe they'll even win it all.

Texas over Florida in 3. ASU unfortunately doesn't have a bullpen left so they are in deep trouble against Florida today. I think Texas has the best chance to win, but anything can happen in the CWS so who knows.

God I hope Texas loses I can't stand their fans. And I am from Texas. At least we can watch them blow it in football every year.

Anyone else think Nebraska shouldn't have pitched to the player who hit the home run in the ninth? He leads the nation in homeruns. He already had two in the game. Rosenblatt is a sandbox. The bases were empty.

It's too hard to win two in a row for ASU and Baylor. I think Texas will take Florida.

Yeah I agree they shouldn't have given him anything to hit. But I thought they might should of had a triple play on the appeal to third on the tag up. That would have been a sweet finish to a crazy game.
