Default 77 Flops a set- Misplayed? PP$11

I think I was destined to lose all my chips here, but would a call have been better? Any raise would have been more than 40%, hence the push. Any improvements?

Well, usually I would just play the 7s for set value, but I wanted to see hom many people would fold to a decent bet. I guess it was a bit of a data mine... Interesting thing is that I probably wouldnt have pushed if I had just checked (due to the smaller pot), but would probably have lost all my chips at any rate.

You're going broke on that flop no matter what, but I hate your preflop raise. I hate it as I hate hell and all Montagues.

I hate the PF raise. The fact that exactly zero people folded says all you need to know about that. Either raise really big (which I don't like much but it's still better than what you did and maybe it makes people think you have a big pair which will help if you're playing a flop out of position) or just check.

You might have got beat with so many people in the pot but I push the flop as well and hope nobody played 89 or got a bigger set. I am assuming the backdoor flush didn't get you, or did it?
