Default Good standard deviation?

Sorry, the search function isn't working for me. What the the ranges for a standard deviation / 100.

I'm at like 20.5 and 2.91BB/100.

Any info on diff SD ranges and how they reflect your play/how you're running?

I'd be curious about some formal info on this as well. Based on talking to some people on here I was told that 2.91 is very good. I'm waiting for a bigger sample size before I can figure out how much is good play vs good cards. I do know that I can't get even close to 3 at 5/10, but seem to easily make it over 3 at 3/6. So I'd be inclined to think that you can play at 3bb/100 without attributing it to luck. But I'll know more after another 10k hands.

SD/sqrt(hands/100) is your sample's standard deviation. double that and that's the realistic +/- on your sample

ie fi my SD is 18 BB/100 and I've played 20k hands at 3 bb/100, my sample's SD is 18/sqrt(20,000/100) = 1.3, so it's highly likely my winrate is somewhere between .4 and 5.6

Stupid question, but I am new to the SD talk. (Yes there are stupid questions and even more stupid people) How does one go about determining your SD?

I believe you go to the summary tab in PT and click on "More Details". If that's not the correct tab, then just try the other ones (but it's not the general info more details).

hmmm ok so

20.5752/sqroot(45634/100) = .9631 * 2 = 1.926
and my BB/100 is at 2.91 at the moment. Soooooo 68% of the time I can expect my BB/100 to be between .98 and 4.83 BB/100? And 2 SD is like what 95% of the time. So that would put me between -.9426 and 6.7626 BB/100.

Soooooo in conclusion I can expect to be crushing 5/10? Or is 45k hands still way too little for a good sample space?

I feel good that 68% of the time I can expect to be beating the game for a decent win rate considering I'm 4 tabling. And 95% of the time I'm losing a small ammount or going up to the 6BB/100 range.
