Default Going to the Trump (chicago) this Saturday, where to stay?

For the Chi-town 2+2 gathering this Saturday, me and a couple other guys (StacysMom and Silkyslim) are goig to stay the night either at the Trump or nearby based on your reccomendations.

The criteria are:

-Close to the Trump
-Has internet access (preferably wireless)
-Not scary

Also, I tried searching.

Thanks for the help.

The only two places that I would stay at are at the Trump and the Harrah's. The Trump has rooms for like $40-50 a night. The Harrah's East Chicago, which is just down Cline Ave also has a hotel. The rooms there are great; for example, the bathroom has a huge tub and a seperate shower. The prices there are anywhere from $80-$150. Sorry about not knowing the exact rates, but I only play regularly at the Harrah's. I hear about the room prices from talking to other people and overhearing conversations, but I've never actually paid for a room at either place.

There are some regular chain hotels off I80-94, but I hear that some of those places are to be avoided because the area isn't that great.

If you want to be safe, just stay at the Trump or Harrah's.

I haven't stayed at Trump's hotel yet, but I was there last night and a couple of the guys at my table were staying there that night and they said the poker rate is $40/night. I'm not sure if that applies to the weekend, but it was a Sunday (but not Fri or Sat).

I'm not sure what the requirements are to qualify for the poker rate.
