always lose on the weekends
On the weekends i always lose the money i've gained during the week. It maybe to small of a sample size, i guess, but i play about 3k hands between sat. sun. and i always lose. i've been hardcore poker for about 4 months trying to earn a decent part time living and its not working cause all my profits go down on the weekend (sat-sun). Is it all in my head? does anyone else have this problem?

You might look at my "fabulous fridays" post this
forum. While I don't lose on weekends, they are by far my worst days. |

Re: always lose on the weekends
You may lose big or win big on weekends as there tends to be more drunk fish. You may hit a bad streak and get sucked out a lot which can cause you to lose.

Re: always lose on the weekends
It's probably in your head unless you play more hours a day during the weekend than during the week.
If you play more hours during the weekend you may be losing your concentration during the longer than usual sessions. Do you tend to lose your money towards the end of your weekend sessions? If yes try playing the same amount as you do weekdays. Or take scheduled breaks. For a while I would always lose after midnight. Then I figured out it was because I usually only played after midnight when I had really long sessions that start before midnight. Now I only play late if my brain is not mush. Fixed the problem for me |

Re: always lose on the weekends
weekend games are generally a bit wilder. as such, yer swings will be greater. over a 3k hand sample, you will not be able to tell anything. play more, play longer, and it will even out, possibly in a very positive way. holla
