Default Hand with 3 players left in the Bellagio TV Star Empire tourney

This happened with 3 players left in the Empire TV Star tourney. Buyin was $100+10, winner wins equivalent of $17,000 for buyin and expenses to November Bellagio tournament. Nobody else wins anything.
I tried running this through the Party Poker hand history converter, but it failed to convert...

Decision is on you... Do you call, or fold? What possible hands do you put canerk on? Results to follow.

I dont think hand ranges mean squat here. Unless he is bluffing, you are beat. I dont think he is trying to value bet A3 there. Unless he is doing this every hand, it is an easy muck IMO.

I probably bet more on the turn (full pot or more) to hurt his chances if he is drawing to a bare club.

On the river I will probably call here but with the blinds still relatively small I think the better play might be to lay it down.
But this play just feels like a bully-move to me from a player who might not have you hand beat. Of course, that might be exactly what he wants you to think.

I busted out in the opening 10 minutes of this one.
AA raise 3xBB pre-flop from MP.
Flop is A87 with 2 spades.
I bet 40% pot or so....next guy raises minimum and button calls and I just call instead of pushing.

Turn is the 3rd spade and you know the rest of the story.
Yuck...when I misplay a hand i REALLY misplay a hand.

I meant to add here that he had been the table captain ever since we had been down to one table. He had played about half of the hands, and had taken down most without a call...

The result, I called --- he had Kc 7c, and took the pot with the flush. I just could not believe that someone with a made non-nut flush would play the turn that way, and then do a HUGE all-in raise on the river. If I had not had 2 pair, I would have laid it down.

Why did you check the flop?

When he moves all in it's a clear fold IMHO. He either has
a flush, Queen's up, or he is slowplaying a set. The pot is
small. Why risk your entire stack on one small pot? Even if you did lay the best hand down the size of the pot is trivial in comparison to your chip stack.

I would add that OOP, you either fold PF or raise to steal. Don't get attached to such a marginal hand so lat in the tourney.

Looks like there was a nice overlay if only 93 players entered. Winner takes all is a crap shoot but still very nice.

I checked the flop because I planned a check-raise... he was playing aggressively postflop, so I expected a bet on the flop.
