Does anybody know if the Taj or Borgata offer poker room rates?

Re: Atlantic City Poker room rates
You might do a search as this has been discussed before. The Taj is the easiest, only requiring you be a registered poker player and you can often reserve the room the same day for weeknights. Borgata and Tropicana are more popular hotels and they don't seem as eager for that kind of business. For weekends in the summer, you probably need to reserve well in advance.

Re: Atlantic City Poker room rates
If you want a room at the Borgata on the weekend you need to call on average one full week in advance throughout the year. I am going to assume that it will be even longer during the summer. I am staying out there both friday and saturday next weekend and I reserved two weeks ago. I am going to call tomorrow to reserve my rooms for the weekend of July 9th. You will have to have already played in the poker room and be a My Borgata card holder in order to reserve it.

Re: Atlantic City Poker room rates
What happens if you get rooms comped from table play and don't plan on playing table games but poker. Are they going to hate me or not care as I've established a history w/ Gata.

they aren't gonna care. They don't cross check it like that to the best of my knowledge. Just don't expect them to comp yuo any rooms from playing poker.
