Default dell laptop display problem 1920x1200

Hi,

My friend just bought a dell inspiron 6000 laptop which is 1920x1200 resolution. It seems that party poker is having trouble with this graphics card. See screen shot below.

Also, it does the same thing at all other resolutions, as well as 4:3 mode. Has anyone else experienced this?

we're getting this question almost daily now. you have to change the font-size (under Properties --> Settings --> advances).

It's set to 'large' and you need it at 'normal' to get rid of this border.

It might require a re-boot as well.

FWIW - I played on party/empire for SEVERAL months before realizing that you could actually get rid of this annoying border thing.

Why this border ONLY appears on party tables is beyond me.
I like having the larger font but it's obviously not much of an option if one wants to play on the party tables.

But the border problem doesn't happen on stars or paradise or any other site that I'm aware of so it is my humble opinion that party should fix this so that their players who want large fonts can HAVE large fonts.

Also, these questions are better directed to the new "Computer Technical Help" forum.
