Hand 1
You have 3rd pair, why would you wan't to show this down? Hand 2 Man this is a mess, fold this preflop but since you didn't you need to start 3-betting for value. Villian has an overpair here the vast majority of the time. Yes set over set is a possibility as is a flush but I think these holdings are remote. Oh yes we are calling this river |

In the first hand u really dont beat anything, maybe TT but very unlikely.
In the other Id put some more bets in on the flop and also the turn usually against an overpair which was already mentioned. |

Hand 1: Unless SB was a LAG, I think you can fold the river. TT is about the only hand I can think of that you beat that there's much chance SB would play this way, unless he decided to run a bluff for the duration of the hand. (I suppose something like T9s is also possible, but it seems pretty unlikely to me.)
Hand 2: Don't fold. Sure, CO could have 88/77/A8s/33, big suited diamonds or some other weaker hand he decided to raise preflop that beats you (and if he's adjusting to the fact that the table is 6-handed, it does widen his range), but I think usually he's going to have an overpair or overcards. Like others have said, I think you should have put in more action than you did, actually. |

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I am still basically a beginner and am in a steep learning curve.
You were all dead on. Hand #1 I lost to a set of J's. Hand #2 I won with a set of 4's. |

You should drop down limits, unless you can afford to learn the game at 2/4.
