Default *THREE* [count \'em] New Gambling Movies!

Well, they're all Sundance movies, so God knows when/if they'll ever be generally released, but still.

The Bookie - Starring Lukas Haas[remember him? now=stoner-looking dude in Leo's posse] & Nick Stahl[I believe he was Sissy's kid in In The Bedroom]. Plot=college bookies get in over their heads.

The Cooler - Starring William H. Macy=always genius. Plot=gambler way in debt gets on one last hot streak.

Owning Mahoney - Starring Philip Seymour Hoffman=always mega-genius. Plot=bookkeeper by day, gambler by night.

I'm gonna try to get standby/cancellation tickets for the latter two for this week. Sneaking likely won't be possible, but fuggit. Guess I shoulda checked the Sundance site for the previews.

Also gwinter try tae see "Party Monster". Macaulay Culkin as a "coked-up preppy psycho-killer, set in the '80s". Who could ask for anything more?

Last month I saw a preview for a Nolte/Fiennes movie. Nolte=broke Monaco gambler/wannabe art thief. Haven't heard anything since.

The Nolte movie is on the way. I saw the preview in a theatre this week...can't recall the name. Critics raving over Nolte's performance. I can't get over the mugshot though.
