JJ in SB flop is KKT w/Flush Draw
Again I just moved to a fresh full table so no reads.
Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is SB with J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. 5 folds, MP3 calls, 1 fold, Button calls, Hero raises, 1 fold, MP3 calls, Button calls. Flop: (7 SB) K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players) Hero bets, MP3 folds, Button raises, Hero??? Last hand post for the afternoon... Flops are killing me. Is a CR line here better? In reviewing the hand I'm wondering if it would have been better for a possible free card? The Button could have AQ/AJ or JT too... Plus the two [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]'s are staring at me. |

Re: JJ in SB flop is KKT w/Flush Draw
Unless I have a read that this guy likes to put moves on, I'm folding his raise and not thinking twice about it. No way I wanna try and c/r here. Betting out is fine.

Re: JJ in SB flop is KKT w/Flush Draw
If button had a flush or straight draw, I think he would just have called your flop bet.
I know its possible that he might be raising to try for a free river card if he misses his draw on the turn. However I dont think that he would risk raising a PF raiser on that flop, as you could easily have AK,KK or TT. I think button most likely has Kx to be raising, but I dont like the idea of folding to a raise on the flop, because it might encourage other players to bluff at you in similar circumstances. A similar hand was posted yesterday, and I think I would now be inclined to call the flop and lead the turn. If button then raised me on the turn, I would fold. I dont think a check-raise line on the flop is better, because you risk giving a free card to a drawing hand if you are ahead, and risk being 3-bet if you are behind. |

Re: JJ in SB flop is KKT w/Flush Draw
you need reads to make a decision here. I think the right play here is to fold. Combined percentage that he might have you crashed and how often he'll draw on you by the river makes it a clear fold IMHO.

Re: JJ in SB flop is KKT w/Flush Draw
This is another hand where I'd stop n go on the flop/turn, folding to a turn raise. He could be raising this flop with a Ten, a flush draw, or possibly even QJ for the OESD.

Re: JJ in SB flop is KKT w/Flush Draw
calls. he might have a straight/flush draw or a T. i'm seeing the showdown and since it's HU and stop-n-go probably won't do much since he'll call either draw and you're OOP on the river, i'd probably just call down.
