Default Posting CO w/KK

Very first hand of the afternoon, no notes, no reads. I figured the Button and Blinds would come along with any paint, or connectors thinking I was on a first Post steal.

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is CO with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Hero posts a blind of $1.
6 folds, Hero (poster) raises, Button 3-bets, SB calls, 1 fold, Hero caps, Button calls, SB calls.

Flop: (13 SB) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, Button calls, SB calls. (This cannot be a good flop.)

Turn: (8 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, Button raises, SB calls, Hero calls. (Now I have a good idea I'm behind to a Q. I just called the raise without any reads. Do you reraise this and why?)

River: (14 BB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, Button bets, SB calls, Hero calls. (Check/Call seems standard to me, anyone lead out here?)

Final Pot: 17 BB

This is a WA/WB type of hand. Standard play or weak on the Turn?

God, that sucks. One of the worst possible flop and turns to have with KK here. Definitely don't reraise the turn, you're behind to AA, AK, AQ, QQ, JJ, TT, and splitting with KK. The only other hand you beat is AJ, and basically he never has AJ. I barely want to overcall this river, but you played it fine.

I think you played it alright. On the turn the small blind cc is what wories me he deffinately played it like Q (bad kicker). The button just seems to be fighting back, maybe a straight draw or TT but I'm more likely to think a lone J. I'd call, (but I'm weak) I can rarely can bring myself to fold Kings. Though I'd expect to be beat.

I think you were correct to call on the turn, as you had 10 outs to improve to a set of K's or a straight. Admittedly the [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] outs are tainted.

3-betting the turn would have risked button capping and been expensive if you didnt improve your hand.

Finally I think your check/call line on the river was better than leading out, which would probably just have resulted in being raised by button.

I think it's good. Not really a WA/WB hand though. Given that you open-raised your posted blind, button can have a bit of a wider range (however, the part of this range that he raises the turn with and you beat on the river is slim). I agree with miles that it is probably a losing call on the river, but one I would nearly always end up making at the table.

I don't think you are weak on the turn. Button knows there will most likely be a showdown here and he raises. He probably puts you on KK, AA, TT, JJ or AK. There are no standard cap hands that you beat. You have two outs as I see it unless he 3-bet with 99 or crap and has guts
Hmm, I see you open raise on CO after posting. If he's good he probably puts you on any two cards after that raise. Not sure what he would put you on after the cap.
U know what, I would actually consider folding the turn! I wouldn't do it though, I would call down. I would never raise anywhere without a K on the river.
