Default What\'s your next card game from Hold\'em?

I've been reading about being "diversified" when it comes to poker and not being a "Specialist" in any one game. LHE is what I enjoy playing and I do play a little NL now and again but it can be pretty swingy for me. What game do you feel is an easier transition to start playing some micro's on after Hold'em?

In order:

1. Limit HE
2. No Limit HE
3. Stud
4. Hi-lo Stud
5. Hi-lo Omaha
6. PLO

That should prevent burnout for the next few years.

The order is mostly because of the nature of the games available to me in my area. I might move things around if I lived someplace else.

Pot limit Omaha is a great game if you can find a good table. I find it to be much easier than holdem, less variance, but less profitable over time. I took the advice of someone else on this forum and I'll oftentimes now keep one table of PLO running while i'm four-tabling holdem, and just nut-peddle with the Omaha.

PLO (pot limit omaha) is actually my favorite game, but the games aren't always around like hold em. You can find Omaha at Stars and Party.

I also play triple draw and Pineapple on Ultimate Bet just for a change of pace.

high-low-jack is the best/most addicting card game i've ever played.

i would really recommend trying it with a few of your friends one time.

I just read the "professor the banker and the suicide king" and now I really want to play 2-7 Triple draw and Chinese poker.

Most likely when I am tired of Limit Hold'em I will move to 7 card stud.
