Default Playing KQo behind a maniac raiser - general SOP

Maybe the hand that gives me the most grief is playing KQo when it's raised to me by the typical 32/14 player. Anyone raising 14% of hands preflop, or more is obviously pumping some very questionable hands, and I'm dying to isolate him when he's holding K2s, QJo, or the like...but I can never quite seem to pull the trigger, since he's so frequently raising any ace and any pair...i typically muck but don't like it.

Is 3-betting KQo ever a good idea (when against a maniac)? The dreaded cold-call? Or just an easy muck?

IMHO KQo and maybe even KQs is to weak here. Its only 14% pfr and that isn't very maniacal. If he is in MP/LP and u have CO/button then one could argue for a probable case of raise!

Your "maniac" will often raise hands like any ace, pocket-pairs and you don't have much if any equity against them.

its all about position.

if he opens from Late MP (right before the hijack) or later he's getting 3 bet w/ a 14% pfr.
