CA casino question

Given the fact that California has the strictest non-smoking rules on Planet Earth, I am curious if these extend to the casinos (such as the Bike, Commerce, etc.). I am planning a CA trip this fall and am curious if I am going to have to contend with the normal air quality issues of a casino, or whether the air is blissfully "clean."

I'm sure some of you play these places regularly, so hopefully someone can answer this. Thanks much.

All public buildings in CA are non smoking including card rooms. With the exception of Indian casinos but I don't think there are any of these in the vicinity of the bike, commerce et al

Closest indian casino is Morongo out towards Palm Springs. Smoking is allowed in the casino, but not in the card room. Also, the room is pretty nice since they remodled not too long ago. I would check it out if you get the extra time for an hour drive out there.

This is great to hear. The thought of being able to play poker in a B&M location (other than a friend's home) and not have to breathe in second-hand smoke is fantastic news. Even though most of the LV casinos have non-smoking cardrooms, the carryover from the smoking part of the casino is unpleasant. It will be nice to play where this is not a problem.

I'm not typically a big fan of government regulations, but this one is A-OK in my book.

La clubs= normal air quality, smells like everything on the menu. I dont eat much asian cusine(mostly Vietnamese I think) it smells somewhat foul when you enter said LA casinos, you do get used to it after a while. I live adjacent to a farm, and the smell doesnt subside, it just becomes something you are used to, similar concept.

The smell of noodles, kimchi, and sesame oil are no problem. I cook a lot of Asian cuisine, so I like it. I'd take that over smoke 1000%.
