Final Pot: $284 I hate to post this as my first post, but I think I underbet on the turn and overbet the river. Anyone think $65 or so on the turn would be better? Then, I think I should have mirrored the turn bet on the river as well (ie $50 or $65) instead of betting too much on what turned out to be a scare card for my opponent. |

raise more on the flop..make it at least $35. he probably has KQ and puts you on AK.
turn and river bets are fine. |

Sorry to ask a stupid beginners question on this thread but how much would you be willing to call with a low pair looking for your implied odds? How big do the stacks have to be vs the bet size, to make calling with low pocket pairs +ev?

[/ QUOTE ] What are you basing this on? Are you saying it's just as likely that the Ad completes a second-best hand for Villain (aces up being the only good candidate) and that you should go ahead and make a full bet into it? |

making a $50 bet into that pot is terrible.
OP's river bet was fine. |

And if he pushes due to your weak bet, then what?
I wouldn't put it past a LAG to push with a weak river bet and represent the flush. |
