Default Quick Blinds - Loose PLayers

I usually play at a weekly tournament at one of our local restaurants. There are about 10 people, one table, sometimes a few more, up to 15 and we merge to one table at 10. We start with 1000 in chips, blinds at 10-25, then 25-50, 50-100, 100-200, 200-400, and are capped at 400-800. The blinds go up every 15 minutes.

What is the best strategy for this type of game? My normal tight strategy where I play mostly premium hands and try to get the best value out of them has lead me to a 3rd, 4th, 4th, and a 5th finish my last 4 times, when only top 3 payout. It seems I can hang around, usually push my starting count to 1500-2000, but then when those huge blinds hit, I'm all in with marginal hands, and never catch in those live card all in situations. Any strategies on how to play this structure tournament more sucsessful? Thanks.

Push, a lot. Even if they're calling, you still need to pick up blinds. You also need to make desperation calls if they are willing to raise any 2 (like we are). High blinds pushes down your hand requirements a lot.
